High Flight Winter 2003 IMAA Logo

On the Cover: Winter 2003

It's COLD on the Russian front! This great cover photo was taken by Bryan Romesburg (#28097) of Haysville, Kansas, of his scratchbuilt Mig-3. It is 1/5 scale and spans 83 inches. Everything was scratchbuilt, including the cowling and canopy. It has 1130 square inches of wing area, and weighs 17.25 pounds. A Zenoah G-38 turns the 18x8 Zinger prop and 5 inch spinner. It is finished with fiberglass and a paint finish, and has Robart retracts. Bryan says it was his first scratchbuilt model! Wow! We look forward to your next project!
