On the Cover: Winter 2002

Bob Kurtz (#25408), of Leola. PA built this Walt Moucha PJ260 over a period of almost two years. Scaled after a full size built by Jim Frankenfield, which was featured on the cover of Sport Aviation, the model weighs 24 pounds and is powered with a Zenoah G-62. It is covered with Sig Coverall, and finished with Randolph dope. It is equipped with a Slimline Pitts style muffler with smoke, a 4 inch TruTurn spinner, and swings a Beila 24/10 prop.
