On the Cover: Summer 2001

This month's cover photo is this B-25 built by Art Muglia, from South Plainfield, NJ. The aircraft dimensions are 17' 2" wingspan and a 14' fuselage. The top of the rudder is 48" from the ground. The fuselage separates into three sections: the nose (forward of the wing), the center section, which includes the inner wing panels and the nacelles, and finially the empinage which has a removable tail section. The model is powered by two 3-w 120B2 engines equipped with Brookside Machine electric on board starters. A feature article written by Dino DiGeorgio details the model's construction.
