On the Cover: Spring 2006

Mort Rosenthal's highly modified TopFlite Corsair, is shown with its pneumatically operated folding wings in "storage position". In the second part of this article, Mort shares a lot of the hidden secrets of how he accomplished this amazing conversion. This very realistic cover photo was taken by Bob Halvorsen. Bob is retired from his career as a photographer for the Daily News, and is an active member of the San Fernando Valley Giant Scale Squadron.
