High Flight Spring 2005 IMAA Logo

On the Cover: Spring 2005

This magnificent 1/5 scale B-25 bomber was scratch-built by Paul Letourneau (#54153). Paul enlarged the Ziroli plans to build this beauty. It is shown on the taxiway at the IMAA 2004 Summer Rally in Muncie, Indiana. Powered by two DA-100 engines, it has a wingspan of 162 inches. Paul used Robart retract mechanisms, with Sierra precision wheels and wheel brakes. Three blade Biela 26 x 10 propellers power the big bomber with authority... and a JR radio using 22 servos keep it all under control.
