On the Cover:

The Dawn Patrol Project, conceived by HightFlight columnist Chris Spangenberg, and brought to fruition by some of his flying buddies in the Channel Islands Condors Chapter has been a huge success. One of the builders, Rich Cox, is a professional photographer, who has contributed many of the outstanding cover photos for HighFlight, and this month is no exception. Rich staged the in-flight photos of two of the Balsa USA Nieuport 28's on their way to another sortie with the Red Baron.
