Top Flight Gold Edition F4U-1 Corsair: The striking photograph of the F4U-1 Corsair was taken by Motorsports Photographer Rich Cox in a 2.25x2.25 format transparency format. The aircraft is the cover story article by Chris Spangenberg. Rich is an avid R/C modeler with over 35 years and builds scale models. Rich lives in Thousand Oaks, California and is a member of the Channel Island Condors, IMAA Chapter 89.

The aircraft is from the Top Flight Gold Edition series featuring an 86.5" wingspan. The color scheme for this model is from the US Marines VMF 213, flown in 1943 in Guadelcanal. Inside, Chris takes this big WWII fighting machine kit to the max with extra detail and features.
