High Flight Spring 2000 IMAA Logo

On the Cover: Spring 2000

The realistic aircraft in the front cover photo is none other than Graeme Mears.
The aircraft is patterned after a full size version down to the rivets, hinges and turnbuckles as you can see from this photo. Graeme built this from Duncan Hutson plans with his own modifications. Power is a Moki 3.6 in line twin. At 102" wing-span, this ia a quarter scale model at it's best. Graeme won "Best of Show" at Toledo and Team Scale at Top Gun as well as many other awards. The model flies as the real one does and is a real giant scale crowd pleaser.
