High Flight Fall 2006 IMAA Logo

On the Cover: Fall 2006

The Man from the Corner, Corky Heitman, has been campaigning this beautiful 3W Models Piper Super Cub at a lot of fly-ins. It spans 156 inches, and is powered by a DA-100 twin. It features operating nav lights, rotating beacon, and landing lights... each on its own electrical system. The Cub is covered with Stits fabric, and is painted with Stits Tucson Cream and Maroon paint. The cover photo was taken by Thistledown Flyers mover and shaker Jeff DeTray.
