On the Cover: Fall 2002

Yes... that IS a model airplane. This amazing shot of Dennis Ulick's (#23669) AT-6 was photographed by Rich Cox at the Channel Island Condor's Chapter 89 Fly-in. Based on a Yellow Aircraft kit, "Night Train" is powered by a Zenoah G-62, with C&H Jump Start, and Yellow Aircraft retracts. It weighs 28 pounds, with a Tru-Turn spinner and a Mezjlick 22x10 prop. The color scheme and markings are scale, based on a full size that was assigned to the 6148th Tactical Air Control Squadron in Korea.
