INSTALLING A WINDSHIELD

Your favorite open cockpit bipe is sitting on the workbench almost complete except for the windshield, because you don't have a good method for installing one.

Well, your problems are over. The diagram to the right shows an easy system that is surefire, and what's more the windshield is a complete unit that can be finished and attached as a separate item.

The key to this sytem is the construction of the windshield onto a thin piece of cardboard or 1/64" plywood, which has been accurately shaped to the fuselage by taping it down during the application of Epoxylite. The Epoxylite in turn is well fastened to the holes all along the base of the windshield, and filliting the Epoxylite through the holes and onto the thin base material.
