Welcome all District V IMAA members to the new IMAA website. The first item that needs to be addressed is to thank IMAA District IV Director, Josh Bunn, and the webmaster, Roy Barrow, for all of their hard work in getting this new website up and running. Thanks guys the website looks great. This website belongs to all of you members and is intended provide you with information about the IMAA, provide a place to join the IMAA or renew your  membership, and to provide other services related to the IMAA. Suggestions to improve the website and comments about the website are welcome. Please e-mail me with any questions or comments you may have. Please do not send any comments about my picture. After having 10 pictures taken in trying to get an acceptable one the photographer said the camera only takes a picture of the subject as presented and cannot make it look any better. I tried taking one from farther away but even that didn’t help. Good flying to everyone and I look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event.

The Shadetree Miniature Aircraft Association in Glen St. Mary, FL, hosted the 2009 IMAA District V Minifest from October 22 through October 24, 2009. The Contest Director was John Mason and the Event Coordinator was Brian Stephens.
